CLIENT PRE-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS FOR LASER/IPL TREATMENTS

These instructions are VERY important.  You must read this leaflet carefully and follow the instructions exactly if you are to get the best results from your treatment and have minimum side effects.  You must have a patch test ideally four days before any treatment.

Do NOT sunbathe or use sunbeds within a 30-day period prior to treatment

Do NOT use self tanning products within a 14-day period prior to treatment

Do NOT use any glycolic or chemical peels on the treatment area for 30-day prior to the initial treatment

Do NOT have electrolysis with a 30-day period prior to the initial treatment and throughout the entire treatment period

Do NOT wax within a 30-day period prior to the initial treatment and throughout the entire treatment period

Do NOT pull the hair out with tweezers within a 30-day period prior to the initial treatment and throughout the entire treatment period

Do NOT thread the hairs within a 30-day period prior to the initial treatment and throughout the entire treatment period

Do NOT bleach the hair within a 30-day period prior to the initial treatment and throughout the entire treatment period

Do NOT use depilatory creams within a 30-day period prior to the initial treatment and throughout the entire treatment period

Do NOT shave within a 7-day period prior to treatment

Do NOT apply gels, oil, deodorants or perfumes to the area for 12 hours prior to treatment

You must inform Face First Clinic of:

Any adverse reactions or side effects from previous treatments

Any change in your medical history (illness, medication or operations)

Any change in medication such as adding herbal  eg St Johns Wort (you cannot have treatment until you have stopped this medication for 6 months
